Description
The first coffee that Lost Barn Coffee ever launched and therefore named in honour of the year that a catastrophic storm, legendarily known as 'The Night of the Big Wind', supposedly blew away (or lost) the barn that resided on the land where our roastery now stands and operates. The 1839 blend began as, and continues to be, a firm customer favourite and best seller.
It delivers a smooth, well-balanced experience whether brewed through an espresso machine or cafetiere. We've crafted this blend using Brazilian beans sourced directly from Fazenda Sao Lucas, complemented by select varietals from across Brazil. The result is a rich, velvety coffee that provides delightful notes of chocolate and caramel with every sip - a true crowd pleaser.
You'll notice that the bags inside of this box of coffee does not have a foil lining or a plastic ventilation valve. Both of these elements are the main things that prevent commercial coffee bags being either home recyclable or home compostable. Because of this you may wish to purchase one of our reusable bag clips to secure the bag inside.
