Formerly named Uganda Kisinga but renamed after the washing station where these beans are processed.
Grown in the southern Rwenzori Mountains, these delicious beans benefit from high altitudes and plentiful rainfall. Hand-picked from surrounding farms, the beans are sun-dried on raised beds and processed with care in the small town of Kisinga.
We purchase this coffee directly from a Social Enterprise who fund vital community and environmental initiatives in the region.
Expect juicy flavours of peach, apricot and tart cherry.
You'll notice that the bags inside of this box of coffee does not have a foil lining or a plastic ventilation valve. Both of these elements are the main things that prevent commercial coffee bags being either home recyclable or home compostable. Because of this you may wish to purchase one of our reusable bag clips to secure the bag inside.
