Description

Produced by Luz Helena Salazar, this coffee is harvested following strict ripeness criteria, floated, and hand-sorted to remove any defects. The coffee cherries are then exposed to 30 hours of underwater fermentation before then being pulped, washed, and dried in temperature-controlled conditions until ideal moisture content is achieved.

Medium roasted to achieve maximum sweetness, we feel this coffee holds its own when brewed under all methods but particularly lovely when served as espresso based drinks, moka pot, or as a cafetiere.

You'll notice that the bags inside of this box of coffee does not have a foil lining or a plastic ventilation valve. Both of these elements are the main things that prevent commercial coffee bags being either home recyclable or home compostable. Because of this you may wish to purchase one of our reusable bag clips to secure the bag inside.
