Peaberry coffee beans, formed when the coffee fruit produces only a single, pea-shaped bean (rather than the typical two, flattened beans), equate to only 5% of beans harvested. Carefully separated from the main crop, Peaberries are known to produce coffee with unique qualities. Produced in some of Brazil’s highest coffee plantations.

Peaberries are known to produce coffee with unique qualities and distinct flavours. This particular coffee is smooth and nutty with a subtle acidity.

You'll notice that the bags inside of this box of coffee does not have a foil lining or a plastic ventilation valve. Both of these elements are the main things that prevent commercial coffee bags being either home recyclable or home compostable.
