Visit The Lost Barn

The Lost Barn, home to our coffee roastery, cafe and store is open 7 days, with a mission to champion all things local, seasonal and sustainable, to reconnect people with nature and each other in a vibrant community space.

Watch the coffee roasting process in action and enjoy one of our speciality coffees freshly brewed for you, or a delicious offering from our brunch menu or cake counter. Pick up some of our homegrown and local produce to create a tasty supper, choose a bag of coffee from our award-winning array,  and browse the range in our thoughtfully curated retail space. Enjoy our idyllic surroundings by taking a stroll around our 4-acre field and pond.  Our large outdoor seating area is fully fenced to keep your small people safe and offers a nature play space with a sandpit and mud kitchen.  Our cafe is dog friendly.

Cafe Menu

Our friendly cafe team serve a selection of delicious drinks, cakes and pastries throughout the day, with our all-day brunch style food menu being served until 3pm. Our brunch menu showcases fantastic produce carefully sourced from local and artisan suppliers.  Our menu changes seasonally and is subject to change but there's an example on this page of what to expect.

Opening Hours

Our opening hours change slightly through the year to reflect the seasons, and are currently (winter 22/23):

Monday - Saturday :  9 - 4pm

Sunday : 9 - 3pm

Please note our kitchen serves our relaxed, cafe style menu from 9am to 3pm each day.

We only take bookings for our long, sharing table which can seat up to 10/12 people.  You are welcome to make a booking for less than this number but please be aware that we may need to seat other guests at the table too during busy periods.  If you have made a booking for the shared table but there is a smaller table available when you arrive you are very welcome to take it instead, just let one of the team know.  Please call us on 01829 470 055 for booking enquiries.

Well behaved dogs are very welcome inside and out. We ask that they are kept on a lead at all times.
