The Vieira Ferreira family has specialised in coffee production for three generations, farming 130 hectares of plantations in the mountains of Sul de Minas, Brazil. The farm employs a skilled workforce who carries out most of the production process by hand, from soil preparation to the hand picking of the ripe cherries. Permanent workers are provided with on-site housing for themselves and their families, along with professional training and schooling for their children. With a commitment to Brazilian environmental protection laws, the farm has set aside its native forests as protected reserves and regularly plants new trees, particularly around its water sources, in order to maintain the local ecosystem. Our Fazenda Passeio is roasted for the espresso machine, with biscuity chocolate and creamy caramel flavours and a hint of lemon.
